Ritter Implants
Ritter Implant Production is located near Tuttlingen in southern Germany, on the edge of the Black Forest. The Ritter brand stands for highest quality, modern technologies and innovative products – Made in Germany. Ritter implants and prosthetic accessories are manufactured using state-of-the-art CNC machines.
The Ritter inner-hex connection is known through many well-known implant systems, such as Adin®, Alpha Bio®, BioHorizon®, Cortex®, Implant Direct®, MIS® and Zimmer®.
The combination of innovative, machine processing and manual finishing guarantees a high quality of the most precise small parts. The material and the behavior, e.g. the heat development of the drills, are controlled and constantly checked with very special machines.
Sandblasting and acid etching
The implant surface
Ritter implants are made of a Grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti6AL4VELI: 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium), which undergoes a special sandblasting and etching process (SB/LA). This method produces large surface differences that allow strong adsorption of plasma proteins and blood into the micropores of the implant immediately after insertion. Likewise, rapid osseointegration and higher primary stability, which allows immediate loading, are guaranteed.
